JAKARTA(SINDO) – Wacana pengenaan tambahan pajak pada sektor minyak dan gas atas keuntungan tambahan dari lonjakan harga minyak dunia (windfall profit) dinilai tidak efektif karena justru mengakibatkan penurunan penerimaan negara bukan pajak (PNBP).

Pengamat migas Kurtubi mengatakan, pemerintah bisa mengenakan pajak keuntungan tambahan dari melonjaknya harga minyak sebesar 30%.
"Besar windfall profit tax bisa 30% jika harga minyak di atas US$ 100 per barel," kata Direktur Center for Petroleum and Energy Economics Studies (CPEES) tersebut di Jakarta, Senin.
